RV parks that allow more than 2 pets...

Hi good folks,
My dear wife and I are going to sell the house and be full-timers. We have two dogs and two cats. We want to be fairly close to the kids and grandkids so we're interested in rv parks that would allow four pets in the western US. For now, mainly Arizona, Washington State, Nevada, Oregon, and California.

Any help will be appreciated.

In general most CG's that do have dog limits the number is usually 2. So you are right in line with that.

I traveled full time with 4 dogs and a cat. And always managed to find a place to stay for the night. :C

Where I found that the 2 dog limit rule seemed to consistently come into play at a CG, was the CG's proximity to an attraction or resort towns. Which I never went near anyway!

Oh my "Killer" is a doberman/bulldog mix but as friendly as a kitty.

CGs have PET rules.......dog, cat, rabbit, parrot

PETS.

Some CGs have no limits and few rules (state/national parks)
Some have limits/restrictions (public/private CGs)
Some have limit on number allowed (2), some have weight limits (25# and 45# common)
Some have bred restrictions (Ins. Underwriters set list)

Best to call and honestly inquire about PET Policies.
Sometimes info is vague on websites OR hard to find.
Call, talk with staff and ask about 2 dogs (type/size) and 2 cats
Be upfront so no surprises later.

How about volunteering at national parks as camp hosts. They will accept your 2 dogs and cats. You will get a site with water, electric and sewer for some nominal work.

We travel with two dogs and used to also have cats before they crossed the Rainbow Bridge. All of the RV parks that we stopped at only cared about the number of dogs. We were always told that the dogs are what needed to be reported. If rabies vaccination certificated were needed they only wanted the paperwork for the dogs. Why not call a few campgrounds at random and ask them about the cats.

Most places don't have a limit and as long as they are inside cats they aren't counted. But.... you will run into places that have no tolerance.

Carefree Indian Wells in Indio CA allows, afaik, as many as you want.
