Just another scam using pseudo science
From what I have researched, the resin is very short lived and the ongoing effects are so miniscule as to be ineffective in a real life situation (but sufficient to be able to back up the claims as to how it works).
It's the same resin as is used in the small disposable canisters that you can connect to your showerhead.
