shocks

I have a 30 ft class c , would installing aftermarket shock improved the rear suspension would these shock help with the raising the rear end of the camper
  • No shocks alone will not raise the rear end.
You need to either replace the leaf springs or add a leaf.

I just added one leaf and that raised the rear end substantially.

Go to a frame shop they have all the modern computer equipment to analysis just what has to be done to raise the rear end and by how much.

Remember leaf springs are metal and metal fatigues. How old is the MH?
  • Is there a specific rear suspension characteristic that you're looking to improve other than lifting the read end? How much (inches?) do you want to lift the rear? Have you ever weighed the rear axle to see if you're simply overloaded?

YES to Improve. Best for that is the KONI FSD Shock.

NO to Raise. Helper springs, Air Bags, Additional Leaf in OEM spring pack to lift or stiffen the rear.
