Call them up. I had questions with the codes I was seeing. Got right thru and they were very helpful.

Well, I can't believe that windows 8.1 would make this so tough. Somehow I need to go to updates and recovery, then get rid of some files, then change start up settings, then re-install the program... ghesh. I'm confused enough with this stuff... what ever happened to plug and play?

Maybe Monday... giving up right now.

I changed my Win 8 interface to Win 7, so I don't know if this will work for you.

Open the VMSpc program, select Advanced > Communications (make sure you have the correct JIB model selected) > Scan for JIB Connection.

That was it. Thank you. Got it working and it identified my random check engine light as a high reading or no info from the turbo pressure sensor.

Hopefully it is a loose wire or bad sensor.

I can see Silver leaf giving me great peace of mind chugging down the road.

You need to run the find comm port if you are on a laptop. Forget the name of it but it will find it then.
