the service and operators manual will give the correct information. its not a good idea to rely on word of mouth info.

in the case of hwh, its ok to use dry lube on the slides if you want, because you own them.
hwh recommends wd 40 for the jacks. dry lube is not recommended. however as i said, you own them. use what you want.
