The answer to the question is `Yes'. Someone uses them. The better question would be `Should I use jacks on the slide?' This has been discussed previously and the consensus is NO.
The latest issue of Trailer Life (August 2013) discusses this topic in the RV clinic section and one part states `Although is should not be necessary, if you choose to put stabilizer jacks under a slideout, just support the weight to prevent sagging, don't push up...'
