Now that I've had my "starter" Four Winds 23RB for a year now I've started to identify what works and what doesn't. The size is great, but the layout isn't ideal. What I would love to have is something less than 26 feet overall length that sleeps 5+ and has bunk beds (or alternatively two twin beds side-by-side).I'm trying to make a list of RVs that meet those criteria (and a couple more) so that I can be scanning dealers and classifieds. Having never seen one in person I think the Coachmen 23BB would be a strong contender, but they seem rare. There's a model of the Winnebago View with bunks, but it's even more scarce. What else should I be looking for? And I'm posting this in the Class C forum, but are there small Class As I should be looking at?

Normally not interested in retro, but haven't seen an RV with so much flexibility in a long time. Would that front end really lower gas mileage that much? First Class A I've seen that I would consider...

The Phoenix Cruiser 2551 is only 5 inches over 26 feet. It has a comfortable sofa bed and twin beds so it will sleep 4 comfortably. #5 can sleep on the floor.

The Phoenix Cruiser 2551 is only 5 inches over 26 feet. It has a comfortable sofa bed and twin beds so it will sleep 4 comfortably. #5 can sleep on the floor.

If you look at older, way older like the 80's, Winnebagos and mostly Class A, smaller ones, you might find something. I saw a 1989 Fleetwood Tioga yesterday, old one, on a website, a Class C with twin beds in the rear. It seems there were a few years where they stopped making the bunks/twin beds in the Class A & C but now they are starting to produce them again.

I like the net that can be put up on the back upper bunk. In the video he says "for storage", so I guess it is not meant to be used when someone is sleeping in the bunk - but an interesting idea to prevent roll outs.
