Source for wiper refills

I used to buy NAPA WIP 602401 refills but NAPA has discontinued wiper refills.

Any suggestions for another source?

I hate to spend $30-50/each to replace an extruded rubber part that costs less than $1 to make.

(Rain-X Weather Beater wiper arms (which needed modification) skipped and jumped at anything less than drenching rain.)
  • Great information -- thanks to all.

After reading your posts, I went to NAPA online and found that NAPA does still sell refills. The NAPA clerk had told me they didn't. Imagine that.

I called the local NAPA and ordered WIP 602598 (25”) which is a pair of refills for $5.99. The rubber portion is actually 24-1/2 inch long and the refills slid into my original arms. $3 each
  • I buy the whole arm from Walmart Michelen I think. Needs a 5 min. mod with a file to make it fit. We have a Winnebago Sightseer with 26 in blades. Beats paying $30 per blade at the RV store.
  • We also get our refills at Carquest. There's a store near you in St. Petersburg, just saying. We change our refills yearly. Works for us.
  • I found wiper refills for my Bounder on Amazon. Good luck and Merry Christmas!
  • Costco sells Goodyear blades with all the components for many setups for about $8.00 each. The longest they offer is 26", which fits many motor homes. They've been selling them for a few years.
  • I went HERE got the part number for mine and found in their dealer list that Autozone carries them. Local store was out of stock but they called the regional warehouse and I picked them up the next day.
  • For us old timers, blade refills are becoming a thing of the past. Most manufacturers have stopped producing just the blade refills. They've gone to complete heads as replacements. Most heads have blades that are molded into the head, no way to replace just the blade.

You now need to buy the complete wiper head.

Unfortunately the material used for wiper blades now days is lousy. The blades barely last a year.

You can still find blade refills but you'll need to search for them. I've given up and just buy the replacement heads.

Ditto! Good quality Bosch wipers for about $20 each.
