- supercubExplorerDid another load, cut down on the size, everything came out great. Lesson learned. Thanks for the replies.
Brian - supercubExplorerI had one in another RV I use to own, and the clothes didn't come out wrinkled. I'm thinking I might have overfilled it. I'll also try fluffing/folding them before the dry cycle.
- frankdampExplorerA few years back, we bought a "Eurotech" combination washer/dryer. I'm pretty sure the "Splendide" is a close relative. We tried it for about 3 months. Everything came out badly wrinkled or it took 8 hours to dry four bath towels. The residential version had a 120V dryer heating element, rather than a 220-volt one in a typical residential dryer.
It was such a total failure that we took a $300 hit to trade it back to the manufacturer through the dealer we bought it from in exchange for buying a conventional pair, which are still working fine after 12 years. Of course, a full-size residential pair won't work in the limited space of an RV, but a stack pair would.
Since DW isn't very tall, a stacked pair wouldn't have worked for us. We relied on Laundromats on longer trips (now a memory, since we sold the RV). - ValkyriebushExplorer IIWon't that add another hour to the drying time?
- FiestaExplorerDid anyone read the manual, of course NOT!. Don't use the high speed spin.

X2. Besides, I like wrinkles doesn't everyone?
I do like my 2100XC. It is busy working right now. - ValkyriebushExplorer IICome on now, Nature of the beast. How else would anyone know you were an RVer without your CLEAN wrinkly clothes.

Brian, try this...
Wash but do not dry.
After wash, remove clothes, FOLD them and return the to the drum.
Dry as normal.
Clothes come our hardly wrinkled. Folding them before drying removes the wrinkles. and Yes, do half loads compared to the full size machines....Dennis
The amazing thing is this also works in a regular dryer. As usual Dennis is right on again, because of the high speed spin with front load washers it will wrinkle cloths and because the Splendide has a smaller drum it is really evident on automatic dry cycle.
We love ours and once we figured out the little "Tricks" it works as a normal.
BOL< - IvylogExplorer IIIWe love our 2100XC vented unit. You need to take them out after the high speed spin and maybe not fold them, but fluff them up... we do large loads and after fluffing, everything goes in to dry. The DW takes the perm press out and put on hangers while still damp to finish drying. I am not allowed to buy shirts that are 100% cotton as they will require me to IRON them... a four letter word.
- 2chiefsRusExplorerWe also have a 2100XC. I always wash a load and then split it into two separate loads to dry. I put the half load waiting to dry on hangers until it is their turn. That means that half is normally nearly dry by the time it gets to the dryer. I always keep the things most likely to wrinkle in that second group. Towels are about the only thing that I will let go directly from washing to drying.
