Sumo Springs

[Just_Cruzzin]

Just bought a 2015 Tiffin Allegro (32sa) and saw there is an option
for Sumo Springs read many of the reviews and it seems like a good
idea to have them installed before we take delivery. Anyone else had
them installed on their RV ?

I think there are a few different types of the Sumo Springs. Some are just a bumper (which might be the $175.00 one) and the ones like were installed on my motorhome actually mount to the frame and the top of the leaf spring and are over $1200.00 for all four.

I have them on my 2015 Tiffin 36LA and I'm really glad I ordered them! I also had the dealer install the BlueOx Triger-Trak. It handles great! All well worth the money!

My coach didn't have them when I bought it. I drove it for a year without and then decided to install them based on some reviews I read on TRVN. IMHO the best handling modification to the Ford Chassis you can make. They anchor the spring pack to the frame with closed cell urethane blocks that really reduce body roll and porpoising on rough roads. They are like air bag suspension without the air pump and lines.

Do not have Sumo Springs, but similar Timbren which are great! They are some sort of rubber with a lifetime warranty. The ride is a lot more stable, no more nose dive on light braking, or jump on starting off from a start. Added side to side stability also. If I were starting with a new gas MH, I would add:
1. Rear track bar.
2. Cheap handling fix.
3. Some kind of spring help.

Just picked up our new 2015 Allegro 31SA three weeks ago that we ordered with the SumoSprings. I would HIGHLY recommend them. It handles great compaired to our last motor home. I test drove a 2014 Allegro 31 SA before we bought ours that didn't have them and it felt top heavy and I was all over the road. Well worth the money in my opinion.

I tried them on my '99 F53 and couldn't feel any difference. Removed and returned.
