No need to heat tanks but if you keep the RV plugged in you may have no choice. Mine goes on automatically when temps reach 40 degrees (120 volt heaters only) and the 12 volt heaters come on only when I turn them on.
Id put an ON/OFF inline switch on that critter... - rcsauceExplorerThank You All!!
I checked a this morning and it was not on. I must have turned it off right after I winterized.
I do keep it plugged in and I have a space heater in there for when I want to do some work. (Way too cold lately)
Any other winterize suggestions? - skipncharExplorerNo need to heat tanks but if you keep the RV plugged in you may have no choice. Mine goes on automatically when temps reach 40 degrees (120 volt heaters only) and the 12 volt heaters come on only when I turn them on.
- Old-BiscuitExplorer IIINothing in tank..tank heaters (pads) can cause damage to tank.
Anti-freeze in tank..no need to run tank heater(s) and waste electricity. - Dutch_12078Explorer IIIf there's nothing in the tanks, there's no point in heating them.
