Thor Axis tire inflation

Question

Just took delivery on new 2015 Thor Axis.

It is impossible to check or inflate the outer rear tire.

The valve stem is "U" shaped and goes behind the wheel rim instead of pointing to the hole in the wheel.

Has any Axis owner worked out a solution to this problem?

It originates with Thor and not the dealer.

Check out a "dual foot" tire gauge.

Have you called Thor customer service? If a dual foot air chuck won't do it then they must have a plan ??

Sounds to me like a warranty issue, and best dealt with right away via a call to Thor or the selling dealer. Bad craziness to be unable to check the air!

The stem is more then likely bolted through the rim. Take it to a tire shop have them pull the wheel loosen the nut rotate the stem to line up with the hole in the rim and retighten. Problem solved.
