Thor Siesta Sprinter 24 SR

we've been looking/considering this unit. does anyone have input; good, bad, and the ugly? would really prefer some objective first or second hand information, but I do understand this is a "Forum" and one gets what they get... thanks!!

EV2, Loggenrock, and jmpatnode thank you for your inputs. hoping to get to a dealership to look at this unit soon...saw one yesterday at local park but didn't get the opportunity to speak w/the owner.
as winter is coming we are not in must purchase now mode but looking just the same. have a great wk-end All.

One of the only concerns i see is available cargo carrying capacity - very limited. If this is not a concern to you, looks like a good unit as compared to other Sprinter chassis.

Interesting as we did the same comparison a year ago, and found the opposite. Purchased a Thor Siesta and with the exception of one problem of inoperative rear high clearance lights (handled under warranty) we have had no other problems. Love the Siesta.

Hi - FWIW, we just moved to a B+ from a B. One of the units we looked at was a Thor Citation - "cousin" to the Siesta. Were REALLY disappointed with the build quality - big things, like how they extended the chassis under the unit with un-finished steel - already very rusty... Ended up with a Coachmen Prism - MUCH better build quality for equivalent money. Just my opinion, but do look closely at the "meat and potatoes" of the unit to form your own opinion. Too bad, too, we really liked the Thor layout, but must say were are VERY pleased with the Coachmen. ST
