X-2, I bought my Michelins thru this program last year and paid $378.00 per tire.

I put on XZA3s this winter. With tax it was about 4000 dollars for six of them. Oh and the reason I mention tax is it was ten percent. Finding them proved to be a chore too.

Ditto the comments on the FMCA Michelin plan. Two months ago, I put on a new set of 6 tires. According to the dealer, I was getting the tires at the same price the dealer pays for them. All the addons, installation, new stems, etc., came to $75.00 per tire. And, I had them add a bag of "Equal" to each front tire for balancing.

When comparing Michelins to other tires, such as Kelly, etc., you need to decide if the Michelin XZA3 tires are better for your safety and well-being. The XZA3, I believe, is a 16 ply tire with added UV protection built into the rubber. They also have a special bead around the edges, to ensure a good seal with the wheel. With my first set of Michelins, they lost about a pound of air pressure every 6 months!!

Purcells in Yuma: 255x80Rx22.5 XRV Tire $560.00 FMCA $476.00 Fet $16.00
Mount 44.00 Balance $58.00 Disposal fee $16.00 Brass stem $7.14 Waste fee $4.00 per tire. Adds up doesn't it. Big savings on the tire with FMCA, what you save on one tire will more than cover the FMCA membership for a year.

Also might want to look at Toyo's. Lots of good comments here and other sites. Have had them on two jeeps, a mustang, and our Class A DP.

Never a problem and like the handling and ride. Got the MH done about four years ago but think I paid about $300 per tire (including mount and balance). Got them at Les Schwab (I would guess that pricing varies from state to state).
Due to depreciation the above opinions are now worth less than what you paid for them.

We are all good at something.....
I just happen to be a good bad example.

X2 rv2go. Go through the Michigan program with FMCA. Don't think you will find that brand cheaper anywhere. Still they ain't cheap. Probably in the neighborhood of$510-525 each, plus mount and balance for which I paid close to $100 each which I thought was high.
