- slabmanExplorerHow about towing a car 4 wheels down?
- BumpyroadExplorerif I was doing it, it would be sitting on a nice aluminum triton trailer.
bumpy - BobboExplorer III doubt if enough of those have been bought to give any knowledge base here. Your best bet for information would be either a dealer of the vehicles, or a forum that is specific to that type of vehicle.
- Gonzo42ExplorerDidn't want a car to run around campgrounds and such, and I was thinking of something more utilitarian and small.
- lanerdExplorer IIWith your View? Don't think so.
What you need is a toy hauler and then put the quad in the back. - Hank85713ExplorerI was going to get a ATV as a ride vehicle to carry in the back of my PU. Polaris at one time had one set up for 2 up riding. You can get the kits for other brands fairly reasonable. Anyhow in AZ they can be licensed for use on streets, tried to find out if other states would recognize the license plate and found many WOULD NOT! Utah only allows them on roads in ares with small populations and other states either said no or had some conditions to meet. AZ also will license golf carts, but again will depend on the state you are in. The 4wheelers like razors and such may be bigger than what you want and again will have to be approved for road usage, which the ATV's are not!
But in any case for either type you would need to trailer them. - DakzukiExplorer

A View will pull a quad no problem on a trailer. Never seen a quad flat towed.
There could be issues driving a non licensed vehicle in campgrounds. - lanerdExplorer II

You need to re-read the OP's question.... he talks about "without" a trailer!

That is why he said "Never seen a quad flat towed." He was suggesting a viable alternative.
