TPMS for 2013 Ford E-450

Some Questions:

1) Has Ford ever offered a TPMS (with internal sensors) as a factory option for the E-450? If so, 2) Is it possible to find a truck tire shop that will retrofit the TPMS? 3) Another possible solution is a product like the Tire-SafeGuard TPM-C106N Kit. It calls for flow-through sensors to be mounted on metal valve stems. Is this generally regarded as an absolute requirement? If yes, 4) Do (straight) metal valve stems come in a variety of lengths? (I would need 2 or 3 different lengths if leak-prone extensions are to be avoided). 5) Is the mounting hole diameter for metal valve stems fully standardized for all types of wheels? (I have the "alloy" option). 6) Can the use of Loctite (blue) improve the odds that valve stem extensions won't leak?

Thanks a lot.

Type "TPMS" in the search box and you will come up with 41 page of discussion on this frequent topic.

One piece metal valve stems by Borg are very common. TPMS sensors mounted on these stems are the norm.
