Seabass69, Any resolve to this problem yet?
Well I checked it today and of course its working fine now. I did find this box so I assume this is the power to the transmission. I wiggled and pulled on all wires and nothing. guess im going to give it a few days and see if it acts up again...... - Seabass69ExplorerThanks, I'll check that out as well

99 monaco Windsor, where do I begin, batteries are good, I can start it by jumping across the solenoid but have no idea where to begin on the trans key pad issue? Help
I had a similar problem last summer.
The problem was the ignition solenoid (not the starter solenoid).
The solution was to establish a new ground connection for that solenoid.
Once the solenoid ground was established, the fuses for the chassis lit up with the ignition switch as did the Transmission pad.
All was good, and now I also have a spare, new ignition solenoid.:R - Seabass69ExplorerNot yet, working 7 days a week and really cold.... Hopefully this weekend I can look at it

- Seabass69ExplorerI pulled the keypad off yesterday and everything looks fine, pulled on the cables....
- mtrumpetExplorerHow about something as simple as the connection on the back/underside of the keypad?

I had a similar situation with an Allison MD3060. Turns out is was a bad chip. The worst part was it was almost $3000.
Assume the bad chip was in the ECU and the ECU had to be replaced.
