Trout fishing trip .Issue #2
I have looked, touched, shook could never find it. Under the R/S of MH near wheel, maybe steps, maybe fender..... After dealing with my bizarre fueling situation I made it to my fishing spot .
I turned the motorhome onto a service road down a slight incline to read the bulletin board. Backing onto the small county 2 lane road when I got to the top there was a clunk, a bang
an even louder bang then I could not turn the wheel. I inched forward a foot and then I could steer. Inched off the road and took a look. The big A&& sway bar was hanging down. The
bracket broke, and some other connecting parts. In a safe area I broke out the tools to remove, nope no deep 15MM. A 45 mile drive back to Bishop with the bracket lashed up with a tie down, $7.52 cents at auto zone
and laying on black parking lot in 90* heat it was off in 10 minutes. As I drove away I smiled.....no more rattle.........
I purchased the coach with the sway bars on it. After driving home in very strong winds I realized the importance of having one installed, huge difference in handling, huge.
