On our way to Florida from Michigan and just before we got off the highway for the day our turn signals quit working on our 2005 Ford E450 chassis motorhome. We are towing our car. Haven't checked the car's
Turn signals yet to see if they work.
When set up for towing separate bulbs were installed in the toad and wiring from moho was run to the turn signal bulbs to operate them.
I replaced the 10 amp fuse under the moho dash but it didn't fix it.
Any ideas?
I see there is a higher amp fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment and one fuse spot is labeled "towing turn signals". Could that possibly be it?

That 20A fuse should fix your problem....it did mine. I had almost the same problem as you. That 20A fuse fixed me right up! Good luck and stay away from those power cords.

I worded that badly. The separate bulbs installed in the toad are powered from the trailer connector on the moho.
I'm going to try and replace the 20 amp fuse located in the engine compartment box this morning, if I can find the box. Any tips on its location would be appreciated. Manual says to unhook battery before replacing these fuses. Is that a good idea or not necessary. It also takes about going through a procedure after reconnecting the battery so the engine can relearn shifting points etc. Necessary?
I should have tried this last night but it wasn't a good day and I was beat. It's pretty cold here in Kentucky and we had another mechanical issue on the road yesterday as well as two traffic delays. And then when we got to our campsite I proceeded to trip over the power cord in the dark, fell hard on crushed stone, and messed up my knee. ??

Do the front turn signal lights work. If only the rear and the toad it very well may be the towing turn signal fuse.

The "Towing Signals" could be powering the rear of the coach along with the trailer connector to your toad. The chassis is delivered without rear Stop/Tail/Turn lights, and the MoHo builders often find it easier to use the "Trailer Tow" harness that's provided with the chassis.

So yes, possible that fuse you found is the culprit. Our E450 didn't blow fuses, but the wiring was so skimpy the incandescent lights on the rear of the coach weren't very bright. When I connected incandescent lights for the toad, too dim to be satisfactory. Rather than run better wiring, install relays, etc. I replaced the OEM rear lights on the coach with LED, and installed LED "Trailer" lights on the toad.

Do the hazard light work?
That would rule out the bulbs.

"towing turn signal" fuse is for the trailer connector on the rear of the MH.
You should not be tapping the MH tailights for the toad.
You could be overloading the light system on the MH. Possible the lamp outage module is toast if equipped.
