Yes ! ! What is your question?
  • where did you mount it and what kind of anchor or screws did you use
  • I have also mounted one. But I had an advantage in that I tore the whole rig apart and rebuilt.

When I rebuilt it, I made sure to put some solid 1x pine inside the wall where I knew I was going to mount the TV. This gave me something solid to screw into, so I just used standard wood screws. You can see the finished product in the second picture down on this page. Further down the page, you can see some of the 1x I put in to mount things to.

But before that, I had tried to wall mount a TV and had all sorts of problems. The walls, of course, were 1/16" luan skins on a hollow core. The weight of the TV tended to cause them to warp and buckle. It wasn't pretty. I eventually mounted a piece of 1x on the other side of the wall (it was inside a cabinet), and used bolts to get all the way through. It was better, but not great.

I don't know what the situation is in your Pleasureway, but I hope this helps.
  • I took out the old TV in my conversion van. That left a hole. My husband then put the mount http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000ID7QNI/ref=oh_details_o02_s00_i00 on a piece of wood cut to tightly sit inside the hole that was left. I have little eyelet/eyebolt screws above and below the TV to hook a bungee cord to keep everything in place while driving. http://weloveteaching.com/RV/1220021515c.jpg

In my case I replaced an old 13-inch CRT TV that was mounted in a cabinet in my 2002 Roadtrek with a new flat screen mounted on the back of the old TV cabinet on an arm freeing up the cabinet for storage. Using an arm for mounting allows viewing from the very back of the RV and if you swing the TV also from the front seats. Mounting screws into the cabinet in a RT is not a problem since all cabinets are make of an excellent grade of 1/2" 5 ply plywood.
  • Do you remember the name and length of swing arm that you used?

It has been over 6 years since I installed my flat screen TV and the arm is no longer available. Just go to Amazon and do a search for "TV articulating or cantilever arm" and you should find over 100 to select from. Hope this helps.
