Since my home sewer system IS a septic tank, I have done a lot of research on the care and feeding of such systems. The consensus of opinion seems to be that everything a septic tank needs is contained in the waste from a human body. NOTHING needs to be added. The same authorities also state that such enzymes take at least a week to do any good, so putting such products in an RV holding tank is an exercise in futility.

I have had the same experience with both systems.

The Jalapeno peppers I consume may assist the process.

IF you dump, put in 10-20lb of ice & some water and drive around you'll never have odors and wont need any more******than is already in there. Been doin it for 40 years now.

I'm sorry if you don't wanna admit you fell for the hype.

Ok how many is the "vast majority" and again have you used it?

Like the vast majority of camper owners my experience with this product is that I don't need it.

I don't use anything in most cases. I also don't dump as I leave a CG. I think the extra sloshing while driving helps to keep it clean. If, for some reason we get an odor I carry some little tablets to throw in and kill the smell. With the Newmar I will dump once a week and with the Roadtrek twice a week.

The proof that it's snake oil is the zillions of campers that DONT use it and yet have no odors.
The majority of campers that use nothing in their tanks and have not are the proof.

Funny how those who call it snake oil or you are a sucker if you buy it don't offer any facts to support their claim, I have no idea how good or bad it is, but for a few dollars I will find out for myself.
When they invent a cure for cancer, I sure there will be those who call that snake oil as well without any facts. Strange world we live in :-)
