I have to say the $148 seems steep to reset a breaker. I have seen the labor rate signs in CW ($125 an hour , minimum charge $64).

This means they charge over an hour to find and reset the breaker.

Do do have to make a living and support the overhead of those large shops, but they are also "experts" and should have found the breaker quicker.

I have learned my lesson that fixing it your self, even though you would rather not, may be the way to go if you can.

I to had the same problem and if the inverter goes out the rear tv and the whole right side and our big tv to.We where on the road and I posted this problem and they told me to check my inverter. The next day in the day light I found it on the front of the inverter in a out side compartment.I would go to the ask Marcus on this site and send him a email as you where over charged to reset this inverter.I wish I had read your first post and helped you .

Playing the Devil's Advocate; the charge was not just for resetting the breaker it was to diagnose the problem correctly and make the repair correctly. Having the expertise to perform the diagnosis quickly is also worth something.
However, the charge does seem high unless there was more work done that we don't know about.

Having owned a business, there are a lot more expenses to cover than the one person who diagnosed the problem.

One day a ladies car would not start. Try as she might, the car simply would not start.

The car was towed to a service station. A mechanic opened the hood, turned one screw and the car came to life.

"That will be $20 he told the lady"
"$20 to turn one screw?" "That is outrageous!" she yelled.

Do you mean the utility companies, insurance company, mortgage company, employees, county and state do not provide their services to your business for free! How dare they charge a job creators.

Sorry, but I'm in the labor charge seems reasonable camp...while asking Marcus to give some back might work as a 'goodwill' gesture, IMHO far too many people want something for free. Yes, to fix the problem was simply resetting a breaker but, much of that was probably diagnostic. It always amazes me that we go to a doctor and think nothing of shelling out a small fortune for the doc to tell us we're ok, or spend a couple hundred dollars to have an attorney write a letter, but complain when a service facility charges us to fix our coaches. Part of the expense of fixing things is paying for someone else's knowledge, experience and overhead...we often send the techs on the wrong direction by telling them what we've done 'so far'. My guess is the OP told them he'd checked the breakers so they started inside the coach at the TV outlets and worked outward.....sorry the OP didn't find it himself even after posting his issue on here but as he stated, "lesson learned"....I'm not chastising the OP, simply commenting on other posters telling him to hammer the service facility......Dennis
