I hope it works for you. I have a 36' Safari DP with a 5,000/b hitch rating. I wanted to tow my Dodge 3/4 ton Diesel pick up which weighs about 7,500 LBS. I called Monaco and the rear end/axle manufacturer and both said I couldn't upgrade to a 10,000 LB hitch as the coach wouldn't handle it and it would void the warranty. So, I tow a smaller lighter vehicle.
