- ferndaleflyerExplorer IIIUSMC 1957--1961 Never saw a shot fired in vain. Never gave it a thought but walked into a pub in Holly Springs, NC on Veterans day with friend sat down had a sandwich and a drink and when I got ready to pay someone had covered it including the tip---brought tears to my eyes as I realized I had my USMC Veteran hat on. Pretty humbling right there
- falconbrotherExplorer IIUSAF A-10 Crew Chief, 1981 - 85. Then 26.4 year police officer, retired. USAF years were some of the best of my life. If I could go back in time I'd enlist all over again.

Thanks to all the Vet's here! Your service is NOT forgotten, no matter when or where you served! - KeninAZExplorerBack at you~~US Army, drafted '66~stayed until '72. Thought of making it a career but the "new all volunteer Army that started in '70 changed things for me. Not a good life for a married man, tough on the family too. Support is important from them.
