Mystery solved. It's not plugged in! After a utube video figured out how to release pantry drawer slides and removed drawers above combo. Then could see back of combo after leaning in. Attempted to plug it in but it will take someone younger, smaller and more flexible to maneuver the plug in. Didn't check it out but I think the water is turned off and it makes me wonder if this thing has ever been used. Thanks for all of the advice. Now to figure out why the refrigerator says no gas flow when the range top works fine. Leaving Thursday for at least a month heading towards Idaho, eventually ??
Hopefully the w/d wasn't disabled for a reason.
Look in the back of the fridge outside for the gas valve possibly being off, as well.
As for leaving on a trip, no sweat, unless there's something serious, since I've fixed a bunch while on the road and most of what I did on our present coach, although no biggies, were on our second and longer voyage. Never know when these things break anyway and even when you leave home without any issues.
