Waste ball stuck

On mine hte pedal operatres a lever which turns a plastic shaft (When new) Which snapped. Had to remove toilet, Dissassemble, Replace with new ball and BRASS shaft.. No snap since

Just had that happen to me... there was a spring inside of the pedal mechanism which had broken Replaced whole mechanism inside (mobile rv service.) Might can try cleaning it while you manually have it open (shut off water supply first) and spray with some silicone? Just a thought.
