Water saving Shower Head

Oxygenics, when you stop it, it will continue with water drops, we actually just use the full flow a few secopnd to get wet, then shutt it off and keep washing with water dropplet, then rinse quickly. We can take a shower every day, many, many days, we can go for one to two weeks.

I use the Oxygenics Body Spa shower head as well. However, I didn't buy it to conserve water as much I wanted a more powerful shower when the water pressure was lower. It does just that. By design, it increases the output pressure at the shower head. While the spray patten is not fine, I get a much better shower from it. They do claim that it does save water as well.

We traded in a 2014 Thor ACE for our current motorhome. It only had a 6 gallon gas water heater and we never ran out of hot water when we showered. Our current motorhome has a 6 gallon gas and electric water heater which I run on both gas and electric when we shower and we run out of hot water. So I'm hopeing this new Oxygnics water saving shower head I have ordered will keep us from running out.

I got the Oxygnics.. Both they and an independent video on the internet show that the amount of water it uses per minute is very close to what my original head used (not enough to make a difference) but the pattern of the spray is diffrent resulting in a far more effective use..The result is I no loner run out of hot water.

Oxygenics is what I recommend. Do this test, open both hot and cold faucets fully at the same time. with a stop watch, and a bucket, direct the stream into a bucket and start the watch. After one minute remove the stream and shut the water off. Then measure the amount of water in the bucket, my Oxygenics uses 1 and a half gallons per minute. So a 6 gallon water heater without adding any cold should stay hot for 4 minutes. Now add half cold water from the faucet and the time for the hot water goes up, You are now using 3/4 of a gallon of hot and 3/4 of a gallon cold per each minute. Your hot water should last 8 minutes. This is what I do when taking a shower, turn the hot faucet on full blast, when the water comes out hot, turn on the cold faucet until the temp is where you want it, get in a shower away.

Thanks everyone. I just ordered a Oxygenics Bodyspa water saving shower head. Everyone gives it really good reviews so I hope we like it. We are tired of running out of hot water towards the end of the shower, I hope this will cure that problem. The shower head that came with the motorhome is nice but it use's too much water. :)
