Water Softener

Considering purchase of a portable water softener for our coach. We tend to stay in areas where well water is common and have noticed some calcium/lime build-up. What units would you recommenced and how hard are they to service and regenerate?

    We have a 2012 Tour with the auto-wind water hose. How is the softener plumbed in as to not grow legs?

    So far our Tour has been a dream and I don't care to make "big" modifications.

    Just curious...why would you buy the RV-Pro 10000 from Camping World? Their price is $275/Internet "Special" when you can buy it direct from the mfg for almost $80 cheaper, incl free shipping..:h....did CW match internet prices....?:h......Dennis
