Water valves question

Hey guys, took the new RV camping last weekend and de-winterized it. Had a leak in the shower, but everything else appears to work well.

I have a question that I can't figure out. After figuring out how to fill my fresh water tank (valves in back storage area) and how to open the hot water bypass (valves under sink), there are still three valves back next to my fresh water tank. The left two appear to dump water directly out under the RV. The right-most valve opens something, though I can't really figure out what.

Is there a standard operation of these three valves that I'm missing somewhere, or do I just have to figure it out through trial and error? Thanks!
  • Usually you will have 3 valves. One is the low point hot water drain and the other low point cold water drain and the third most likely drains the fresh water tank. That is how mine is. My low point hot water drain will also drain my water heater.
  • Not sure what your three valves could be, but on my C three valves like that drain (1) the fresh water tank (2) the water lines and (3) the hot water tank when it is not bypassed. Draining the water lines really requires opening all the hot and cold water faucets so that air can enter the lines at that point to keep from forming a vacuum holding the water in the lines and preventing drainage.

I suspect your three may be the same.

It would be helpful to get a correct answer to know what kind of rig you have. Make? Model?
