"adaptable to power door lock actuation" just means there's a lever with a hole in it to hook an actuator to.

Visually, that is the same door lock that I have in my View, it has and electric actuator controlled by the vehicles locking system. Some recent View/Navion models had problems because the lock draws too much current and was burning up the Sprinter control module, so WBO modified the system by adding a relay and controlling the relay with the vehicles locking system and allowing the relay, fused separately, to operate the lock.

Yes, you need a spring loaded double contact set in the door jam, to transfer the power from the door to the jam. However it all works well.

Trimark also markets their own keyless system and fob, called e-ASK

According to RV Lock, they are coming out with a lock for Class A's in 2017-2018.

It is not needed nor was it difficult. I just replaced the lock on my 5ver. It took all of 10 mins. It has a keypad, remote and key as a backup. I love it. One thing I like about the one I got is the key is not the standard RV key that everyone has a master of. Looking on their website, it says they have a version coming soon for class A's. You might want to call them to get more info on what is soon. The website is: RV Lock

I have heard good things about Bauer for keyless locks as well. Their website is: Bauer Products

I saw one here at Vegas trailer supply that takes batteries and has a key backup but it did not fit my lock size, surly there is one out there.
