Visually, that is the same door lock that I have in my View, it has and electric actuator controlled by the vehicles locking system. Some recent View/Navion models had problems because the lock draws too much current and was burning up the Sprinter control module, so WBO modified the system by adding a relay and controlling the relay with the vehicles locking system and allowing the relay, fused separately, to operate the lock.
Yes, you need a spring loaded double contact set in the door jam, to transfer the power from the door to the jam. However it all works well.
Trimark also markets their own keyless system and fob, called e-ASK
