Since our first campout is this coming weekend decided to get going on preparing the motor home for the season.
First checked the Norcold refrigerator (model 821) to make sure the cooling system serial number doesn't match their recall. It didn't since we had replaced about 8 years ago when it crapped out.
When I took off the refrigerator outside door, my temporary windshield (to prevent flame blowout in strong cross winds when on the road at speed). Cut a piece of fiberglass from the MH garage skylight left-over and riveted it in place.
Today we're going to get more serious and do other chores such as running the refrigerator on gas and electric, flushing/sanitizing the water system, running the generator for a while on a load. Hopefully the temp will reach at least 55° F today. But at least the 4" of snow we got Friday is all melted.
Oh, yeah, can't forget to check the tire pressures, and clean/Rain-X the windshield.
