Took it into the shop to get the furnace fixed as it's cycling too often. Also found a wet spot in the carpet from a bad slide front seal..Today,I went to the shop and found it was the drivers side window that was leaking down the wall and along the floor and not the seal.Soo,R&R the window, replace the putty and hope that they don't find too much water damage. May have to replace the carpet..Bummer..Tech freaked out when he took the cover off the front furnace and found a mouse nest next to the board and it's probably been there awhile judging from the piles of meces feces..Been fighting them for awhile now and thot they were all gone..
So they're gonna redo the burner parts,R&R the window and dry out the carpet and give me an estimate on replacing it,but I'm really leaning towards that neat tile or wood. He's also going to reseal the front cap and redo the gutter over the entry door so the water doesn't drip down and run in the door.Poor design on the gutter and the front awning.
On edit:.Called this AM and they found a small 6" crack in the roof right above the gutter that I had never seen and a lot of water damage inside the wall. They told me that my comp insurance should cover it so now we'll see..
