What does the alternator charge
I have a 2007 Allegro 35TSA 8.1 Liter gas motor, has two (2) six (6) volt coach batteries. Question does the alternator also charge the coach batteries as well as the motor battery ???? Thanks for yo...

no doubt its possible way back then they miswired one or two.to me its seems odd that no one would have corrected the problem way way back when
Yep, as I said earlier, even our low end, under powered, under sized, 1986 Toyota based Dolphin Class C had engine charging for the chassis battery. All it takes is a simple solenoid and a bit of wire.
