Make the one with the protective cover is at the top of the list.

I misread your question. I thought you were looking for a stand alone canopy, not an awning.

a few years ago our TT awning was rammed while extended at the camp ground by an inattentive driver. Our local RV shop helped pick out an upgrade and did the install, all for less than what I would have paid shopping on my own.

There's a surprising amount of choices out there, from economy to top of the line.

Check the Cabela's catalog online. They have all sizes and shapes, with and without screen sides. I have an 8x12 with the optional screens, just for parties at home. Very well made.
