Do you have any type of energy management system or surge protector?
Open the breaker panel until the wires are exposed. Inspect for heat or burnt areas.
Yes pull the cover off the transfer switch and again check for burnt items.
I assume it is just 120 volt power you are losing or do the 12v lights go out also?
May as well check the battery voltage. s/b ~13.6 when power is on.
