From what I’ve learned from you about buying a used coach is nothing is more important than the chassis and the best chassis is the semi-monocoque because of its strength and rigidity! I also understand that an aluminum/metal exterior is also the best. Its my understanding that both of these things are available on the Monaco and Country Coach in the years I’m looking for. What part of "45' Motorhome" do you not understand?:S If I had to replace my DP it would be with a 06-07 Monaco Exe with a Detroit engine.

If I had a choice I would get a Prevost with a DD series 60. I have a few buses and one is in process of being an RV with an 8v71 and love it. If I were to get a motor home from the big makers i would go with foretravel or the like with a c9 or bigger cat or an isc 8.3 or bigger or I would stick with a gas unit. @45 feet need to stick with motorcoached based units. why in the hell would you want a 45er my 40 is big enough. but that is me.

I think you've narrowed it down to a couple of good choices. I wouldn't buy anything newer than 2008 on the Monaco side. They went out of business in 2009 and some coaches were not done so well. The Executive or Signature would be fantastic. We were just in Quartzsite last month and there were two lots with several Executives and Signatures that were still beautiful.

I also have to say that I still see Country Coaches on the road that the paint looks like it was just painted yesterday.
