Where to sell ?

I called Lazy Days in Tampa and had the deal done in one day on our 08 HR. I delivered it to make an additional $1500 (cost me a tank of fuel and 2 nights of CG fees), arrived a day earlier than expected and was out the door in 30 minutes.

All of the above.. consignment comes last. Escapees has a for sale board.

I've used PPL consignment twice and they would be my first choice if (when) I sell again. They do the advertising, hand hold the tire kickers, handle the paper work / title transfer, even arrange financing for the buyer. I don't have to worry about good/bad cashiers checks etc. These services are well worth the commission to me.

Put your ad in several areas. Put in a good discription and a price so folks know before they contact you and not waste your time. "First come, first served."

There are so many variables. Do you live in an area where there would be many potential buyers? What is the price point? A low price point wouldn't justify a consignment. If it is fairly expensive in you live in a rural area, you probably need a consignment option because the buyers aren't going to get to you. How comfortable are you dealing with people you do not know? Are you available to show the rig when necessary? Lots of things to consider and there is no right answer.
