Window Replacement

I have a 2007 Class A coach. The driver's side window has become cloudy and difficult to see through, especially when I need to see my rear-view side mirrors. It appears as though it is constructed of double-pane glass, so the problem appears to be inside. Can this problem be corrected or does the entire window need to be replaced? If replaced, who do I contact to do this type of work?

Wow...$200 a piece sounds very reasonable. Wish there was someone in Southern Cal that could do it for that price.

  • I see Dave Roots truck here in TT at Sunriver Oregon on a daily basis. It's worth a call. Don't know if the business is national.
  • Suncoast Designers in Hudson FL did all of ours. Seal failure is the cause. They remove the windows, separate them, clean them, put them back together and reinstall them. All while you are parked in their parking lot with water and electric hookup. Very good customer service, reasonable prices and better than average warranty on their work. http://suncoast.ccwindow.com/
  • Yes it can be repaired. Dave Root at RV Glass Specialist even sells a kit. Give him a call. Lots of step by step information.

we had our dual-pane windows replaced at Suncoast Designers in Hudson, FL. they did an excellent job and we can enthusiastically recommend them. their shop has about a dozen 50-amp overnite spots and most jobs are completed in one day. check them out.

We also have a couple of windows that have fogged between the panes of glass. Many folks highly recommend Suncoast Designers in Hudson, Florida to do the repairs. They remove your window/s, repair them, and replace them. We plan to have ours repaired when we visit DW in the fall. They have RV sites and you stay there in your rig for a day or two while they do the work.
  • Most can be repaired UNLESS the glass has been etched to bad then it needs to be replaced. Do a search for dual pane windows and I'm sure they will have the names of the companies that do the repairs.
  • We just bought a 2002 Itasca 32v Sunrise, had the same problem with both front driver and passenger windows. Had to have them replaced before we bought the rig. Dealer told us the double pane window seals can "leak" over time.
