windshield motorized shade

I ordered my Automotion shades for the whole coach thru Brady and Hall. Best upgrade we have made and there have been a lot of them! I was able to use the existing dash switches for the windshield shades. Two years now and no problems. Did the install myself.

Have a update on windshield shade. MCD won't let me buy a basic up down motorized controlled by my factory installed switch. They want me to buy their system which would probably require someone else installing it.
So Auto Motion Shade gave me the name of a dealer which may help me. I am purchasing the motor through them. Turns out this avenue fits my purpose better beings I have three of these things laying around the house so I have plenty of spare parts.

Not a fan of the Auto Motion shades we have. Lack of or unwillingness to provide replacement parts is terrible.
Our coach is currently at Camp REV getting ours repaired along with a few minor warranty issues.

If you are into DIY it took me 4 hrs to install. Since your front shade is already wired it should be a bit quicker.

Thanks for the replies. After a little research I think MCD is the best choice for me, they offer replacement parts and the original doesn't.

We also added an MCD day windshield screen and side cabin window day shades. We had them added to our previous gasser too. We have been very pleased with them. They were installed by a dealer in Valencia.

If its just the motor it is not difficult to replace. I believe that little motor runs about $75 and is pretty much the same for several different model shades.

I have MCD motorized windshield and manual driver, entry door shades. After three years all is good.
