My insurance company arranged replacement with a company. We had to take it to where they were going to do the work, not too far from home.
We had a high deductible at the time. We have since changed to a lower deductible.
I would definitely ask your insurance company about this, specifically about windshield coverage. We see now how easily they can be damaged.
