Electric motorhomes are coming: a new RV powered by solar panels and 91 kWh battery pack
Now a new prototype of an actual full-size electric motorhome shows that it’s possible.

Has a 100 mile range that can be extended with the solar, BUT how much further??? The panels on the sides are not doing much so take a 45' DP with the roof completely filled with solar panels..400 sq ft is 5000wats of panels which equals 6 HP...not 600 HP which many 45' have.:S
Yes, smaller takes less HP but my 40,000 lb aerodynamic brick 42' DP with 400 HP got 7 mpg so a aerodynamic 4,000 lb car should get 70 mpg ...not may of them out there. Yes, a large DP is surprisingly efficient...smaller does not equal more efficient.
All of your heavy electric vehicles only make sense if you have stop and go travel where the battery is recharged when you stop of slow down regardless of the battery type.
