Followed George's suggestion and are now "caulking" around the window screens with the gray duct seal. It's better with one of us on the outside and the other pushing against the inside frame to get a good seal. There's also pretty large openings around the handles.
Jack is livid over it...we should not have to do this to keep out those pesky mosquitos. A brand new unit should have window screens that actually do the job :(
