Winnibago Vista 27N?????

DW and I stopped at the local Winnibago dealer here in Conway to kick tires. They had a Vista 27n that we fell in live with. Whole lot of Class A in a small package with some serious amenities. He explained that the Vista was the entry level modal and was very helpful with the details of the coach.

I gave been looking exclusively at SouthWind and Bounder 35's and up. Never considered a smaller coach, or even Winnibago.

So, who has one and how do you like it. Any tips or info will be enjoyed.

Many thanks

Just out of curiosity, where did they install the Washer/dryer on the Vista?

I have considered that but never found a feasible location...

The biggest negative for them is 30 amp power and one A/C. We were with them in a week of temps over 90 and the single A/C was not enough to keep the coach comfortable. A couple of the longer floor plans have 50 amp available but not the 27N.

Where did they install a washer/dryer. I assume it didn't stack and is a splendid but nonetheless I can't think of space in my 30T.
  • I bought a 27N last July. I've put about 5,000 miles on it and love it. I like the large amount of kitchen counter space, the good size shower, the full curb side slide which opens it up to a lot free space. Have not had a problem keeping cool with one ac, even in California's hot central valley in the summer. It has a huge amount of closet and storage space. I have only had a couple of minor problems to be fixed under warranty. I did upgrade the vent fans in the living room and bedroom to remote controlled, 14 speed with rain sensors. I really can't think of any more "bells and whistles" to add.
  • You cannot beat winneybago. We just bought an Itasca Sunstar 35f. The Sunstar is the Itasca version of the Vista. This is the 2nd Winney moho we have owned and we love it. The main thing is for mom to like the floor plan. We owned a 30ft with only one air conditioner and never had any problems with cooling. As far as 30amps go, no problems there either. Don't let that entry level crapola sway you. Entry level means it doesen't have all the bells and whistles that the higher end coaches have, its still a winney.
  • We just picked up our Itasca Sunstar 30T, a close relative to the 27N. We really liked the 27N, but the table and chairs, and double livingroom slide sold us on the 30T. One good piece of advice is after you have picked out the coach you think you like, look at the next model larger and see if there is anything you will really miss!
