I’ll shut up now. I guess if one has seen people die, seriously injured, dismembered, these things aren’t fun internet or beer drinkin subjects.

Yes we do for some things the old lines "This could happen to you"
And "Forewarned is forearmed"

I too was wondering specifically if it was a blown tire.. Someone suggested driver passed out due to medical issue or fatigue

If the Tire.. In one of the forums here is a stiky "Watching these videos may save your life"... Other than it's but one video... That has got to be one of the most accurate subject lines I've ever seen..

IF YOU HAVE NOT watched that video DO SO.

A strong argument for being seat belted in a tow vehicle...even worse if your wife was walking back to make lunch.

Appears to be a class A, don't understand the seatbelt in the tow vehicle. Seat belted in the RV, sure. Truck hit the front passenger corner. Belted or not, I am not sure it would matter in this case.

on edit, Went through it frame by frame. No way the people in the MH survived. Semi went completely through the driver cabin, tore the house off the chassis, and ripped the MH chassis in half.

Trucks have to meet crash testing requirements. Also the low end class a MHs are often pretty marginal handling so a blowout is more likely to cause loss of control.

No guarantee surviving in a truck but much better odds.

That thing completely disintegrated and is consistent with other crashes I've see where the house part of a motorhome just disintegrates.

So part of your body can remain attached to the RV chassis rather than all of the body parts co-mingled with the debris?
Reminds me of a horrible accident I was actually part of and didn’t just watch on YouTube.
Best friend and his fiancé got smoked head on by a drunk driver and I was in a class 6 truck right behind them and totaled it also.
A comment was made, since she got ejected from the passenger seat and he didn’t and was crushed inside the vehicle that perhaps if she’d worn her seatbelt she would have survived.
Weird thing was, she did survive the accident. For about 5min. He was gone immediately so I tended to her laying in the snow, but to no avail due to the nature of her injuries.
