NYGrrl pie crust usually Browns too easily unless you're careful with the DO. - Got'a love a dutch oven.... Here's a pic of my little brother in deer hunting camp from a few years ago. We would come in for lunch at noon and he would put the pot-roast on the fire before we went back out for the afternoon hunt. When we came back at dusk, dinner was waiting.

A lil cream replacing some of the milk, add some veggies (asparagus? broccoli?), touch o' nutmeg and you've got a complete meal and can pretend yer sitting on the banks of the Moselle singing manly songs;).
Wonder if there is any easy technique to brown the pie crust?
