Unbelievably good, just like eating candy.:B I bought two different hams this year and froze one. The one I froze is the Kirkland's boneless Applewood Smoked Master Carve Ham. I hope its as good as Costco's Honey Baked Ham. Have you tried this ham? By the way Costco's Farmer John's Cinnamon Sugared Bacon is excellent, too. It was a hit at my Christmas Day brunch. All 60 thick slices gone in a heartbeat, LOL. Happy New Years!

We never have had good luck freezing a ham. They seem to have a grainy texture after freezing as well as being watery. Please let us know how the frozen ham comes out.

Not in anyway "knocking" Costco hams as I have never tried one.Also not trying to start a "Who has the best ham" war!Just mentioning another option with I believe some historical significance.If you have never had one, you should try a honey baked ham from the original "Honeybaked Ham Store". They are a chain that originally started a long time ago in the Detroit or Chicago area. We have been eating them since at least the late 60's. They have their own stores. I do not believe they are sold elsewhere. I also believe they had the very first "spiral sliced" ham.Again, do not want to "Hijack" this thread, just mentioning another option to try sometime.

Yep,, we love 'em!! Matter of fact going to make a yummy Ham Samich today with Christmas left overs,,Perfect size Hams from Costco! Have not had a bad one yet!!Had the Honey Baked,it was good as advertised, But the long lines and the price was not worth it,,For your money, Costco (Kirkland) has a wide selection of spiral cut hams..Wife does freeze them and I can't tell the difference. but again,, +1 here for the Costco Spiral cut Hams!!

Yesterday my husband went to Costco to buy a Costco Honey Baked Ham before they were out of them. Now I have 2 hams in the freezer, LOL. I think he likes ham.:h

We buy the Costco ham every year and like it better than Honey Baked. Seems to be better quality ham.

The ham I made for Christmas was an Archer Farms (Target brand) spiral sliced Honeybaked circa. 2012! Yep, frozen for more than 2 years but came out PERFECT!

Do not have good luck with a Spiral cut ham. Seems like they always end up in strange pieces. Is there a secret to cutting them?
