Creamed peas in toast cups

Mom used to make these regularly. Toast the cups in a muffin pan, make the cream gravy with peas, or creamed chicken or creamed anything :) and voila!
  • I used to make these toast cups and fill with scoops of canned corned beef hash...sometimes plain and sometimes with a white sauce with peas. Hadn't thought of that in years!
  • Oh my gosh. You just brought back a great memory. I haven't had these for years. I must make them, they were a childhood favorite. I believe my mom would make a white sauce, add peas, chicken, spices and serve it over some puff pastry. YUM.
  • Creamed chipped beef was a fav when I was growing up. Yum! Oh, and homemade scotch eggs.
