I always seeks out farm stands, yard markets for produce...my big gripe??? Make room for us to park our class C and many times there just isn't enough room for us to pull over...waaaaa. Make room for me and I will spend some serious money:B

We are currently in the Keys and I went to the produce market across from Kmart (Saturdays at 10:30 or so)...I think I was their biggest customer of the day at $97.50. Hubby and I are busy eating...

Some what same line but with a twist. We haven't used them yet but once we go full time we plan on using this as much as possible - harvesthost.com. They offer free overnight camping at hundreds of farm stands, farmer markets, wineries, etc all over the US.

Southern Ontario....St Jacobs farmers market..tues, thurs and sat in the summer, thur, sat rest of the year.

Large farmers market in Waterloo County. The area is one of the largest old order mennonite communities in North America.

When I lived closer to town, I used to visit Findlay Market in downtown Cincinnati on weekends. Fruits and veggies were outside and meat/seafood counters were on the inside. Unlike grocery stores, the fruits and veggies were so fresh that they'd slap your face. And the refrigerated vendors inside had a selection the was unbelievable. One stall just sold sausages, but he must have had 20 varieties. Another sold dairy products. They always had a huge block of butter. If you wanted a pound, they could cut a pound off of that big block that was within a couple of ounces. And eggs gathered from free range chickens. They were fresher than the grocery store variety that come from caged chickens, and no more expensive.

I will point out that the one listed on Battlefield in Springfield MO would be pretty easy to access for an RV heading south to Branson and beyond. Sort 4 lane trip in the city and easy access and 4 lanes out.
I haven't actually visited it, but I hear it is a good one.

Thanks for posting that. Farmers markets are one of the first things I look for in an area we're planning to visit.
