We are planning an extended trip and I'm wondering what kitchen appliance, excluding a coffee pot, that you use in your RV and which you use least. We have limited storage, and I'm thinking I should probably leave some of them behind. I'm thinking about purchasing a Ninja slow-cooker that also fries, Ninja 3 in 1, as we make lots of soups, etc, and Im wondering about a blender. I make smoothies a lot, and lastly, do I need our toaster, and I'm also looking at the NuWave Oven thing and okay, something would have to go. LOLAnd am I forgetting anything?

We don't take the things we don't use. We could almost full time with nothing more than the stove, oven, crock pot and grill. I only bring other "appliances" if the menu I made for that trip requires them. Regarding your blender, you said that you make a lot of soups and smoothies. Will an immersion blender, which is relatively small, help you with both?

Recently we've added a few appliances we've begun to rely on:Tefal ActiFry- makes great fries, chicken wings, ribs and more with less oilOpti Grill- Very fast indoor grilling with little messNuWave Induction stand alone burner- Very fast to heat up, reliable temperature control, cool to the touch for safety.And our favorite is an Indoor Pizza Oven by Breville. Only takes about 45 minutes to make the dough, build the pizza and cook it. Way better than delivery or frozen.We have plenty of storage so we haven't had to eliminate anything. Appliances that do multiple tasks are the right way to go when space is limited.

When we did weekends and vacations, we just had the coffee pot.Now that we full time, we have a crockpot, coffee pot, blender/food processor combo, and mixer. I cook a lot, so all of them have been used within the last month. Besides the coffee maker, the crockpot is the most useful but, if you don't use it at home, no reason to bring it.

We leave for AZ December 10 until early April so will have lots of time for cooking things up.

Last night did a whole chicken ( just under 6#) and it was juicy with a beautiful brown skin.

1:55 turning at the half way point and cooked to an internal of 185 then rested for about 15 min.

Not sure what's next but whatever should be good.

Will still use our Big Easy outside in warmer temps but if have to be inside the NuWave Oven Pro Plus joins our crockpot and NuWave PIC as favorite kitchen appliances on the road.

Tried frozen brats last night and they were juicy and delicious.

11 minutes a side turned out to be the right cook time.

Impressed.

Did a test run tonight...2 thick burgers.

Since they were thick cooked them 9 minutes a side...last minute put a piece of cheese on one for DW.

Turned out juicy, delicious and med rare to med....just the way we like it.

I can see the possibilities are endless with the NuWave Oven...whole chicken will be next over the weekend.

Oh...cleanup was a breeze just like our NuWave cooktop.

+ a bunch!!!

We have the NU-Wave Oven. We love it. I cooked a whole Ham awhile back. It was wonderful!
